Edmund Wilson (1895-1972), American literary critic and author. Mary Pcolar, her husband George Pcolar, and their children lived near Edmund Wilson's home in Talcottville, New York. During the 1960s until his death in 1972, Pcolar maintained a friendship with Wilson, assisted him in learning Hungarian, and worked for him as a secretary and driver. Pcolar later married Bernard E.
